Good times in Seattle

Flew to Seattle for a 3 night visit prior to heading north to Vancouver. Arrived Seattle/Tacoma airport and saved big on taxi fare by riding the “light rail” to my downtown hotel. Getting to the light rail station is a simple process: just follow the signs at baggage claim. You will walk through the parking garage and eventually see the elevated station. Booked a three night stay at the Best Western Plus/Pioneer Square…( Pioneer Square is a historical area and is almost in the heart of downtown, so you can get to most of the main tourist attractions by walking. I also rode the local bus “104” to reach the terrific Museum of Flight. Below is a list of the ‘do not miss’ sights I visited and excursions that I loved and saved money to boot:

Day 2:, FREE walking tours, a MUST., NOT FREE but you can quack and relax., Lots of fun especially if you are into sci-fi.

Note: if you plan riding Amtrak, the King Street Station is in Pioneer Square.
