Edinburgh 5 Day Scottish Adventure

I visited Edinburgh on 1 August. Following a crazy 2 hr delay to get luggage and faced with limited tram service due to construction, I was delighted to arrive at my lovely B&B about a 10 minute easy stroll from the madness, as the Edinburgh Festival was about to kick off.

The throngs of people everywhere make navigating the streets challenging, but with my game plan, I was ready.

My Agenda:

Food Tour: GREAT – a must for any visitor/ www.eatwalktours.co.uk
Royal Yacht Britannia: Fun.
Real Mary King's Close: OK.
Camera Obscura: Fun.
St Giles' Cathedral: Another large Gothic cathedral.
Edinburgh Castle: Pretty awesome!
Johnnie Walker Experience: Good, easy fun, but overrated.
Calton Hill: Awesome, the BEST!

Highlight of my trip – a MUST.
Finally, try and understand the Scottish English… never an issue
The Royal Tattoo started the day I departed. The city is easy to maneuver but the weather is unpredictable, a few more titbits;.
Restaurant/ The Outsider Restaurant(Yummy)
Pub/ Doctors( Fun experience)
